If you’re connected with me on Facebook, you know that I am jumping out of my skin to be a contributing author to this great new book, soon to be published on Amazon!
Look at how gorgeous the cover is!!
It’s an amazing feeling to begin to see one of my bucket list goals come into play! There will be more writing and publishing to come for me, but if I could say what made this happen for me more than anything else?
Refusing to say no!
When presented with an opportunity that will change your landscape for the better and bring you an accomplishment or a human connection that you want, it’s always far easier to say no than yes. I’m no exception to that.
But, here’s what I’ve learned over the years. Saying yes is always an option, anytime and for any reason. It opens the door to possibilities, personal growth and the chance to share yourself and your talents (gifts) with others. There doesn’t have to be a downside, if you’re in it for the right reasons, aka something that you’re driven to do that you know will improve the world.
And I’ve noticed something else. When it’s easy, it’s meant to be.
I don’t think the Universe intends for us to suffer, feel small or have our needs go unmet. In fact, when she offers us an emotional shit-kicking, its about what we need to learn and where we need to grow in order to live out our purpose in this lifetime. And you know in your heart, soul, and deep core what your purpose is.
I know that easy is my message that I’m on the right track. Notice I didn’t say unchallenging, I said easy. When I step up for myself and what I want without hesitation or let fear lead my decisions, I may feel excited and nervous but it is always easy.
My chapter is about learning how to use your voice. Go figure, huh? When you get to read the book, as I know you’re going to want to do, you’ll find 25 chapters from health and wellness experts who share their stories and a tool for healing. Ps the other authors are simply amazing and I’m crazy proud to be in their company!
Watch for the book launch next week! I’ll be keeping you posted!
And as you sail through your day to day life, I’m curious. What will you refuse to say no to?
