So much to be grateful for, right?

This is a weekend to feel all the feels that gratitude offers us. Not that we need to wait for a special holiday to be grateful, but those trees definitely won’t let us ignore them. I love that about trees!

We appreciate and give thanks for all the things, all the experiences, and all the people who have left us feeling warm, feeling peaceful, and feeling love inside. You know that feeling and you know it’s the best feeling ever.

Something has been popping into my knowing.

What about us? Are we appreciating and giving thanks for ourselves? Are we appreciating and giving thanks for who we authentically are and what we do to take care of ourselves?

And I wonder what our body and health might say back to us if we did. What our soul might say back to us if we did. I wonder how we would feel if we allowed ourselves to call in our need for self-attention, just like the trees.

My take? With regularity, the gratitude would be given right back and the love would flow like a river. It would replace the nagging need to do all, be all, and wait for others to make us feel how we want to feel. And it would make our holidays even better than they are now.

Holding space for gratitude is amazing, especially when we try it on ourselves. Love to hear how it goes!
