Staring out the window as I enjoyed my breakfast the other day, I was mesmerized by the tiny snowflakes falling gently outside. Snowfall is a given this time of the year, but these were not your every day snowflakes.
The sun had come out to dance with the snow, each holding the others hands, spinning and twirling through the air. Then just at the right moment, the connection between them peaked, making each flake not just sparkle but pop in a firefly kind of light show. I truly had never before witnessed anything like it. I could not pull myself away.
So I let this beautiful gift from Mother Earth in. I could feel the energy of gratitude and love overflow my body and my heart. I held that energy throughout my day, simply by letting myself feel it.
This holiday season, that energy is what I wish for you. Moments of unexpected sparkle that hold your heart and your focus, reminding you that life is so much more if we let ourselves see and embrace it for ourselves.
