It’s easy to be voiceless, or voice-quiet.
At some point during our lives, most of us fall into the trap of letting our voices take a back seat to others who we think have some kind of power over us, perceived or real.
But that doesn’t mean we can’t get our voices back.
With all the inner work that I have done to improve the strength of my own voice, there is one thing that helped more than anything.
Learning about myself.
Join me for 3 Steps to Using Your Voice, a free 1 hour Zoom class on Thursday Dec 10th/20 at 11 am EST.
Yep, I know that I’m always on about getting down to our deep core and understanding what makes us tick. That’s because when we live based on what’s outside of us, our world is limited by what others want, what they think, what they say. Our voice is quieted as we struggle to figure out how to avoid being judged, or have them pull away from us, by doing our very best to please them.
How exhausting is that to always be on the look out for what we should and shouldn’t be doing to please others? Oh, and ps…chances are we will never get it right.
Learning about yourself is how you take back your power and begin to live freely. That’s where all the things that make you feel good, feel love and feel joy hang out. Once you know those things, you can take steps to honour them (give them some good old love) by shifting your focus on them over what your outside world is expecting of you, which may change from one day to the next.
I know it’s hard to choose what’s right for us over others (spoiler alert: it never needs to be one or the other), but it’s way harder to live in a world where the only direction you have for what you say or do comes from someone else.
It’s ok to look for your own joy. It’s ok to look for your own peace.
And it’s more than ok to use your own voice.

3 steps to Using Your Voice:
Beautiful woman
Are you tired of feeling like your voice is shushed, quieted, ignored or shut out?
That’s no way to live, girl! We have things to say and those things matter!
Are you tired of not being able to speak up when you want, in case someone disagrees or challenges you?
Are you tired of always needing everything to be perfect around you, including for others?
Are you tired of continually balancing or even ignoring your own needs while you fulfill your role as a caring mom, friend or employee?
Knowing how to use your own voice can change all that.
Join me for a free class 3 Steps to Using Your Voice, Thursday, December 10th/20 at 11 am EST. The class will be over Zoom and will be recorded for those who can’t attend live. But since one of the first things that we need to do to use our voices is show up for ourselves, there will be a special bonus for women who are on Zoom for the live class.
This class will cover 3 steps to using our voices that will change how you think about and use your voice. Learn why your voice is important to how you feel, how to tap into yourself for your confidence to use your voice, and how you can begin to use your own voice where you want to be heard. Sound good?
Having our voices silenced is an issue that so many of us struggle with. Please share this with other women you know who you think may get some goodness from it!
