We are all independent, amazing individuals who operate from our understanding of ourselves.

PS, I love you. 🙂 Keep reading, I just wanted to remind you of that. 🙂

That understanding of ourselves includes having different triggers, traumas, and subsequent tricks that we teach ourselves to practice over our lifetime to keep us safe.

But that’s not our authentic self we’re seeing and bringing forward, that’s us using the lens of our human experiences to determine how and when we use our voices. How’s that working out for you?

We silence ourselves when we come across people or circumstances that scare us the most, for reasons only known to us. That’s part of why we don’t all get completely silenced.

For me it was doctors. I was so challenged in doctors offices as a young woman that I either didn’t speak up for myself or I said shit that came only from my resentment, and those words basically made no sense to anyone. The point is that we need to dig down to what’s real for us instead of working from what we need to heal from.

It’s interesting how things show up for us that we need to work on to be fully voice-full. When we use our voices, we can ask for exactly what we want, need and desire. That creates the best self-determined experiences for us, and go figure, spiritually that’s pretty much the bottom line to any guidance we receive.

So why not go for it all?

Go for that full self-expression of your authentic self, not the one buried in fear. Your authentic self-alignment begins when you put the fear motivation to the side and start noticing and understanding your real needs.

Don’t ignore even that one place where you feel like you’re not being heard. You deserve to be heard in every part of your life, in every relationship you have. You may not get the response that you want each time but you’ll have used your full self-expression to establish what works for you.

Take a look at what’s true for you and what makes you feel how you want to feel.

What brings you that feeling in your life right now? Start there.

(PS… It’s your heart that tells you want you want, and if you sit quietly, your soul will tell you why you want it.)
