Julianne O’Dwyer is an independent Health Coach working out of her home in Reston, VA, who authored Chapter 20 in the Ultimate Guide to Self Healing Volume 2 titled Nutritional Detox: Does the Road to Improved Health pass Through Your Liver?

In 1999, as Julianne was graduating with an international MBA after working as an international consultant in Europe and Russia, she experienced a catastrophic crash of her health. She had 40 symptoms, including extreme fatigue, leaky mercury fillings, hormone and thyroid imbalance, brain fog, sleeping issues, deviated septum and sinus issues, depression and hopelessness. And that was on top of chronic pain due to several car accidents and sports injuries.

This was particularly devastating because Julianne is an avid hiker and skier who fulfilled a lifelong dream of moving to Colorado, where she started working in corporate marketing in the telecom industry. However, her drive to resume athletic pursuits motivated her through trial and error with many alternative health care approaches and hundreds of supplements. Julianne successfully healed naturally without the use of medication.

As a result of her triumphant return back to health, Julianne left her corporate life to help people, especially athletes, overcome their own health challenges. She moved from Colorado to Virginia. As a Health Coach at National Integrated Health Associates, an integrative medical and holistic dental clinic in Washington, DC, for several years, Julianne worked with clients to support their bodies with lifestyle changes, including nutrition, supplementation, hydration with alkaline water, cellular rebuilding with REDOX technology and detoxification techniques.

In 2018, Julianne fulfilled a life-long dream of trekking in Nepal and now partners with a Nepalese trekking and touring company to take adventurers to Nepal.
