There seems to be lots of talk lately about the changes taking place on the planet.

Seems that many of us are allowing ourselves to heal.

It seems that we are more aware of our own ability to take the reins and make ourselves happy. I don’t know if it was partly because of the pandemic when we were threatened with illness causing death for as long as we were, and it really doesn’t matter.

Many of us just seem to be so much more aware of the health and wellbeing of people and the planet. And we’re using that awareness to make choices that work for us and leave us feeling good and happy. Who doesn’t think that’s a good thing?

I happen to love it, big time!

Healing is a rebuilding of sorts, stripping down the old ways of treating yourself (including your limiting beliefs, self-talk and self-compassion) and picking up new ways to support yourself as we travel through the sauce of life. Only you can rebuild and make the choices that serve you in ways you want to be served. Healing touches on every single part of us and our experiences of this lifetime.

One of the things that I have noticed over the course of my own healing, which is ongoing btw, is that many things I used to like, I no longer do. When we clean up our inner selves, we also clean up what we expose ourselves to. Just a few…

  • A good mystery story, yes, but no more watching creepy, scary movies.
  • A feel-good news story, yes, but generally no more listening or reading the news.
  • Connections that bring me love and receive my love back, yes, but I’m not hanging with people who are not in that same space. (If it’s people that I don’t feel I can exclude from my life like Uncle So-and-So, I have practices that help me manage that in the moment.)
  • Doing for myself before I do for others, yes, but I no longer care to exhaust myself with yeses.
  • The woods, yes, yes, yes, but it’s no longer just nice, it’s now a necessary practice of self-care.

If this kind of thing is happening to you too, woo-hoo! Your healing is causing shifts in how you perceive things that support you. These are all signs of aligning closer to yourself. It’s a redesign of how we see love health, wealth, joy, nourishment, excitement and love.

What used to draw us in simply doesn’t anymore, and that’s ok. Much of it may just settle into our beings without much thought, but it’s actually an opportunity to learn more about ourselves.

We notice what is changing in us and we have the chance to build on the ultimate knowing of what works for us and what doesn’t. So use your growing awareness to make choices that leave you feeling good; body, mind and soul.

That’s healing.

Congratulations.
