On this Valentines Day, I want to send you an extra dose of pure love from me. I figure that the more love we share, the better the world is. So hey, pay it forward please!
I love Valentines Day. I really do. Not only is it a day to celebrate the love I have with my husband and my family, it’s a day that I allow myself to celebrate that love.
Life gets busy, right? It’s not that there is no expression or celebration of that love any other day. But most days it gets mixed in with the to-do list, expressions of love looking more like “putting a pin in that for later”.
So the allowing part becomes super important. It’s a full on intention set to honour that love for a whole day.
Celebrating love always needs to be intentional. I don’t care if it’s your life partner, your mom, your cat, or yourself, we owe it to ourselves to be intentional about expressing our love and receiving love back.
Because love makes the world go around. Love makes us stronger, healthier, and more resilient.
Love reminds us of our humanity, of the joy and happiness that is right at our fingertips for us to grab and run with, anytime we want.
Love is the feeling! Tweet that sucker out!
V Day is a celebration of love, not a time to judge ourselves for not having the relationships we should have or still being in toxic ones.
It’s a reminder to actively seek out that feeling that uplifts us, expands our heart space, and fuels us to feel more of it.
So please take today, and every day, to set your intention to feel love, without any qualifiers or self judgements. Be open to receiving.
